My Story

I am a girl whose story began long before I understood what life would ask of me.

Born to a teenage mother in Liberia, I was left behind as life took its course. My journey eventually led me to Ghana, where I grew up, experienced the complexities of family life, and learned some of life’s difficult lessons at an early age.

My story has not always been easy to tell. There have been chapters marked by questions, challenges, and experiences that shaped the woman I would eventually become.

At seventeen, I migrated to the United States and met my mother for the first time. That moment became another chapter in a life that had already taken unexpected turns.

As the years unfolded, I became a mother to a beautiful daughter, discovered new possibilities for my life, pursued my education, and began putting my words and experiences onto paper. Today, I am a mother, an author, a journal writer, and a woman who continues to learn, grow, and discover what God has placed within her.

But beyond every title I carry, there is a deeper story.

It is the story of grace.

The grace that has sustained me through difficult seasons. The grace that has given me courage to pursue things I once thought were beyond my reach. The grace that has taught me to look back at my life, not only through the lens of what I experienced, but also through the lens of what God has brought me through.

I have come to understand that my beginning does not have to define my ending. My past is part of my story, but it is not the entirety of who I am.

This space is where I share that journey.

Through my quiet moments, reflections, prayers, life experiences, and lessons learned along the way, I invite you to walk with me through the pages of my story.

Some entries may take you back to moments that shaped me. Others may bring you into the quiet places where I sit with God, reflect on His Word, and find peace in His presence.

I am still learning. Still growing. Still becoming.

And as I continue to write, I hope that something in my story reminds you that your own story is worthy of being told, that difficult beginnings do not cancel out possibility, and that even in the chapters we do not understand, there can still be hope, meaning, and purpose.

My story is still being written. And through it all, grace remains my strength.

Read my personal testimony, Grace Is My Strength, and see how grace has carried me through my journey.
